Imagine you have been saving for a long time and now you have enough money to buy a house of your own. With the Ace you make that choice, you start scouting for properties, knowing the market is on a low point, and it may not last long, you act quickly, contact several agents and see all the options, and after a few days, one of them takes you to a house and you immediately think "this is it", and you choose to make an offer right away. So now the house is yours, you move your things from the apartment you've been renting, with deuces, you

, you decide there is work to be done here and you ask for a mortgage, much less of the value of the property, just enough to do the repairs and buy the stuff you need, a loan you can afford. With threes you have hired help to fix all the imperfections of your new home, and refurbish it, but it is taking a bit longer than expected, things are moving but you find yourself contemplating the horizon thinking when will you see the expected result. With four, all repairs have been done, your house is just as you wanted, you invite your neighbors over, have a small reunion and "officially" invite your partner to come live with you. With five, the balance has been broken, the house is how you like it, but not as your partner does, they start giving ideas on what to change and there's a small strife coming to decide what to change and what not, sometimes you easily agree, others the discussion escalates a bit farther. On six, you finally have decided that you will make the decisions over the rooms upstairs, and your partner about downstairs, and each lead on the things to be done to get an environment that works for both. On seven things get unbalanced again, there are things you don't want to change downstairs, and things your partner insists on changing upstairs, each of you holds their ground, and jealously defend your position based on what you had agreed already. With eight, you finally start the final stage of the work on the house, this goes by really quick, since mostly is about new furniture and appliances, in just a few days, it all has been done. On nine, you both defend the changes each has made, and although it seems there's a big argument coming, you both just hold your ground and accept this is both your home now. On ten, you realize some of the things you bought weren't as practical, or didn't have the good quality you thought and they actually made things worse, and same goes for your partner, you both have to carry the burden of your tantrum based decisions, and deal with the consequences of your lack of cooperation.

Wand Court Cards as parts of self:

Page could be that naivety when you were property scouting, and what made you choose "the one" without looking further options. Knight would be that impulse that carries you through the first stage of fixing the new home. Queen would be that theatrical, immature, yet fierce attitude you and your partner showed during the second part of fixing your home. King would be that acceptant, yet inflexible attitude of leaving things as they are after you both were done.

Wand court cards as others:

Page could be the real estate salesman that takes you to each house, showing you the coolest details as excited as if it was a house for his own. Knight would be those workers who took the time and got the work done during the first stage of rennovation, showing their reliability. Queen could be your capricious partner wanting to change things out of the blue. And king could be you, feeling proud of finally taking charge, of taking that risk and of what you have accomplished.
